April is National Poetry Month.

To honor the month Ellender Memorial Library created a display honoring and celebrating Nicholls Poet-in-Residence Emeritus, Dr. David Middleton. Mrs. Lady Pierson designed this 2nd floor display showcasing our celebrated poet. Utilizing resources from the Middleton (David) Papers she designed this one-of-a-kind display to highlight just a few of his works, his photographs, and poems from his works. We thank and honor Dr. Middleton with this display, for his contribution to the arts, the archives and library, and Nicholls State University.
